Big Spring Clean Named 'The Regions Best Community Relations Project'

Sandwell MBC first 'Big Spring Clean' campaign won another award last night 30th November, being named 'Best Community Relations Project' at the 2007 CIPR Midlands PRide Awards.

Managed by Tipton Litterwatch, the event which took place in April 2007 saw 147 litter activities happen throughout the borough of Sandwell, involving 2,500 volunteers from the community, schools and external partners.
